On Friday, April 27, 2018, at 5:00 PM, a lecture series titled Architecture: Public Matter will take place at the Faunapark premises in Frýdek-Místek, Na Příkopě Street 1221, with the support of Deputy Mayor Jiří Kajzar. Proceeds from the event will go towards the restoration of Faunapark.
The topic will be presented by local native Marek Štěpán, who recently completed another church, this time in Sazovice, which was selected in the prestigious magazine Azure's top 10 among the 10 best realizations in the world in 2017.
The Bratislava studio GutGut has, among other things, the best reconstruction of a panel house in Central Europe. Not only this project can serve as inspiration for many cities.
Representatives of the youngest generation of architects from the studio Malý Chmel will share their experiences from their (un)realized projects, such as the extension of the Primary School in Nezamyslice and others.
Admission is voluntary, and the proceeds will go towards the restoration of the Faunapark Zoo in Frýdek-Místek.
This project was created with the support of the Deputy Mayor of the statutory city of Frýdek-Místek, Jiří Kajzar.
The project Save Faunapark in Frýdek-Místek was created with the support of Slezan Holding a.s., the Statutory City of Frýdek-Místek, Hyundai Foundation, and Open Society Fund Prague.
