How to approach industrial heritage? How to protect it? What can be done for its revitalization? Claudio Nardi will show in his lecture the path he took in building the MOCAK – the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow.
Claudio Nardi graduated in architecture from the Universita degli Studi in Florence in 1978. During his studies, he collaborated with Carlo Scarpa on the International Design Project in Florence. In 1979, he founded his studio Claudio Nardi Architects in Florence. He is globally recognized for designing interiors for the most prestigious Italian fashion houses such as: Dolce & Gabbana, Papini, Valentino, Tod's, Ferre, Exte, Malo, Gente Roma, and LuisaViaRoma.
The lecture will take place as part of the international workshop Re – FACT on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 4:00 PM in the large auditorium of the Faculty of Architecture at VUT in Brno.
