Damjan Prelovšek: Plečnik's Ljubljana

On Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at 1:15 PM, an extraordinary lecture by Professor Damjan Prelovšek will take place in the Janák lecture hall at the FA CTU, Thákurova 9. He is a prominent Slovenian architectural historian, notably recognized as an expert on the work of Jože Plečnik and its popularizer, an honorary doctor of the Academy of Art and Design in Prague, a long-time diplomat, former ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to the Czech Republic, and the recipient of the Gratias agit Award from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic in 2017. The lecture is organized by the Institute of Heritage Conservation of FA CTU in collaboration with the Institute of Art History of the AS CR and the Czech National Committee of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS).
