On Thursday, March 31, 2016, at 5:00 PM, there will be a lecture by Monika Mitášová on the topic "Eisenman's interpretation of Terragni" in room A118 at the Faculty of Architecture of the Brno University of Technology.

Prof. Ing. arch. Monika Mitášová, Ph.D. (*1968) studied architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of SVŠT in Bratislava. She focuses on the history of theories and contemporary theories of architecture. She has worked at the Center for Theoretical Studies at Charles University and the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague, and currently lectures at the Faculty of Arts of Trnava University, previously at the School of Architecture AVU in Prague and at FA TU in Liberec. She served as a curator at the Slovak National Gallery in Bratislava. Monika Mitášová is known to the Czech audience primarily as the editor of two books of texts and interviews on American critical and projective architecture Oxymoron and pleonasm I-II, or as the author of the anthology Czech and Slovak Architecture 1971-2011, which she compiled together with Jiří Ševčík.
