The Department of Architecture invites you to a lecture by the Spanish architect Fernando Menis, which will take place on June 19, 2018 at 4:00 PM in lecture hall LPH 109 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering VŠB - TU Ostrava, Ludvíka Podéště 17.
Fernando Martín Menis is an architect, professor at the Technical University of Valencia, and chairman of the lab for innovation in architecture, design, and modern tourism in Tenerife. He has also worked at Harvard, Columbia University, ESA Paris, TU Berlin, Akbild Vienna, and has participated in architectural festivals in Switzerland, Australia, Singapore, South Africa, Croatia, Italy, etc.
After studying architecture in Barcelona from 1981 to 2004, he co-founded the studio named Artengo-Menis-Pastrana with two colleagues. In 2004, he established his independent studio Menis Arquitectos, based in Tenerife and Valencia.
