The reSITE festival has unveiled a significant part of its program for this year. Once again, the main themes are Cities as Places to Live, but this year's conference will also feature new guests from various fields presenting their unique perspectives on this issue. The core of the festival remains discussions on topics such as the depopulation of city centers, the intensity of car traffic, the expansion of socially marginalized areas, the privatization of public spaces, and the decrease in greenery. Come and be inspired and share experiences!

reSITE is already an established platform for exchanging views, interesting confrontations, and primarily a source of positive examples from around the world. This year, hundreds of architects and urban planners, representatives of city administration and self-government, developers, economists, and representatives of civil society will gather in Prague, significantly supported by the Institute of Planning and Development of the City of Prague in organizing the event. This year's reSITE will take place from June 19 to 20, 2014 at the new Forum Karlín hall in Prague.

Adam Greenfield
Adriaan Geuze
Edward Glaeser

This year's main speakers will include the head of the New York City Department of Transportation Margaret Newman, Michael Kimmelman, one of the most influential American architectural theorists and the chief art critic of the New York Times, and Edward Glaeser – a world-renowned economist and author of the urban bestseller Triumph of the City. Among the architects, Adriaan Geuze from Rotterdam, the creator of the famous Borneo project, will participate. Cities such as Budapest, London, Moscow, Calgary, and Paris will also have their representatives at reSITE, including one of the most respected landscape architects in the world, Michel Desvigne.

This year's reSITE will take place in the newly constructed Forum Karlín complex in Prague 7-Karlín.
