We cordially invite you to a lecture by the world-renowned architect Steven Holl, which will kick off the conference on architectural education on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Steven Holl's presentation will be freely accessible and will also be BROADCAST LIVE. You will find the link to the stream later on the conference website and here in the event. The New Dimensions conference is organized in Prague by the European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE) and the Faculty of Architecture of Czech Technical University. Steven Holl was named the best American architect by Time Magazine in 2007. His work is characterized by his use of light, which he theoretically elaborates in his publications. His career began in 1977 when he founded Steven Holl Architects in New York. Today, his firm has a number of internationally recognized projects to its credit. In addition to other awards, Steven Holl received the Praemium Imperiale ("Nobel Prize for the Arts") in 2014, the AIA Gold Medal in 2012, and the Daylight Award 2016 from the VELUX Foundation for his work with natural light in architecture.
