Assoc. Prof. Ing. Acad. Arch. Jan Šépka (*1969) graduated from the faculty of architecture at ČVUT and subsequently from the School of Architecture at AVU. In 1994, he co-founded the association Nová česká práce with Michal Kuzemenský. From 1998 to 2009, he was a partner at the HŠH architects studio along with Petr Hájek and Tomáš Hradečný. Since 2009, he has been leading his own design office, Šépka architects. From 2004 to 2014, he served as a lecturer at the faculty of architecture at ČVUT and since 2015, he has been leading the A1 studio at UMPRUM. Ing. Arch. Mirka Gulbisová Tůmová (*1982) graduated from the faculty of architecture at ČVUT. During her studies, she completed an internship in the Netherlands at TU Delft in the studio of Prof. Kase Oesterhuis. Since 2008, she has been running her own architectural studio homostudio with Jiří Gulbis. Since 2012, she has also been working at CUPIDO, which focuses on project implementation. From 2009-14, she was a teaching assistant in Jan Šépka's studio at the Faculty of Architecture at ČVUT in Prague, and since September 2014, she continues in the same position with Jan Šépka in the A1 studio at Prague's UMPRUM.
