Fine single-layer plaster and finishing putties have already found their place in Czech buildings. Rimano plasters made from natural gypsum are intended for plastering all masonry indoors.
A new product on the market is the white gypsum finishing putty Rimano Glet XL, which saves builders time and money with its properties. It is the only purely natural gypsum putty that has not been available on the Czech market until now.

Plaster and finishing putty in one material
With this unique material, it is possible to work simultaneously as a base plaster and finishing putty for final surface treatment, applying it within a thickness of 0 to 10 mm.

It is possible to finish a wall and prepare it for painting within one day. The "wet-on-wet" processing technology allows for reduced working time, thus saving money.
Using Rimano Glet XL gypsum plaster will speed up construction or renovation processes.
It is an ideal product for final wall and ceiling surface treatment in interior spaces for any building substrate.

Healthy environment
The final surface treatment is performed without any grinding of the entire surface. The combination of the properties of gypsum and the method of processing allows for the creation of an antiallergic and healthy environment indoors. This is supported by a pH of 5.5, which gypsum has and which is the same as that of human skin. Using a spray for measuring acidity (pH tester), it is easy to determine on the wall whether the used plaster is truly gypsum or contains lime admixture.

Plasters ensure the breathability of masonry thanks to their low diffusion resistance, thus preventing the formation of mold. Gypsum plasters and finishing putties have the ability to better transmit minor tensions in the substrate, thus preventing the formation of micro-cracks or cracks that are common in traditional lime-cement plasters.
Modern brightly colored wall paints with spot lighting stand out more on smooth walls than on plaster with a coarse-grained surface. Few people know that gypsum does not absorb color pigments, so repainting is not needed as often.  When using Rimano Glet XL, only one to two coats of paint are sufficient. With traditional plasters, repainting more than three times is common.

High efficiency of the plaster

Rimano Glet XL is suitable for constructions where a combination of substrates such as concrete monolith and aerated concrete is used. It is also used in renovations and repairs of local unevenness, smoothing rough surfaces, on old core plaster, or to fill concrete pores.
This material can be applied both manually and mechanically, allowing an extended processing time of up to 90 minutes with an efficiency of 0.9 kg/m²/1 mm. When mixed with water, gypsum plaster increases the volume of the processed mixture, and unlike traditional plasters, it increases the material yield.
This means that one bag (25 kg) can cover 5.5 m² of plaster at a thickness of 5 mm and finishing putty up to 25 m² at a thickness of 1 mm. With traditional plasters, it is common that one bag (25 kg) can cover only 2 m² at a thickness of 5 mm.
The product is available in packaging of 12.5 kg and 25 kg.
Gypsum plasters not only have decorative and aesthetic properties but also meet demanding construction-physical requirements for all interior spaces. Therefore, they are an exclusive material for interior solutions.

Final smoothing (troweling) of the surface is done without grinding. It is performed with a facade stainless steel trowel with rounded corners. The plaster, when moistened, releases fine gypsum, known as gypsum milk, which is used in the final phase to repair all irregularities.
When working with the new product, training and technical or construction supervision can be requested during the construction process. These services are provided free of charge.
