Zumtobel Lighting

Zumtobel Lighting is involved in the energy efficiency of the passive building INTOZA in Ostrava.

The ceremonial opening of the energy-saving training center of INTOZA in Ostrava inaugurated the operation of an exceptional, energy-passive building. The facility, which houses the company's offices and primarily the training center, also serves as a "training tool." The building is designed in the spirit of the company's philosophy, which focuses on energy savings, as a model energy-passive structure.

The lighting solution from ZUMTOBEL, along with the control of lighting intensity and external blinds in relation to natural light, significantly contributes to the overall energy balance of the building. The lighting in the offices, lecture hall, corridors, reception, and on the façade is controlled by the LUXMATE control system. The goal of the control system application is to achieve the maximum possible savings in electrical energy consumed by the building's lighting system and to maximize the use of the diffused component of natural light entering the rooms through the windows. For example, the controls adjust the individual slats of the blinds based on the position of the sun. The staircase and corridors are also managed by presence sensors.

We are very happy to provide you with further detailed information or assist with your project.
