The Nová Křenová project in the wider center of Brno is entering its final phase. It follows the first phase from 2019, and its completion is planned for the end of 2026. Construction is currently progressing to higher floors, and the building is gradually asserting itself in the urban skyline. The residential building aims to become a new vertical landmark in the wider center.

Construction of the residential project Nová Křenová continues on Křenová Street in the wider center of Brno, building on the first phase completed in 2019. The current phase represents its final part; the building is rising and shaping its final form. The location has undergone a gradual transformation in recent years, and the new construction seamlessly connects to the existing urban structure.

The building has 16 above-ground floors and reaches a height of approximately 60 meters. In this part of the city, it is one of the more prominent buildings, which is noticeable in long-distance views and gradually complements the silhouette of the wider center. As the height of the building increases, views of the city open up, including Petrov, Špilberk, and the broader Brno scenery. The construction has gained comparisons to the London skyscraper The Shard due to its distinctive shape and line.

The architect Rudolf Müller is the author of the design. The building is designed as a compact urban structure that works with limited space in a central location and with the orientation of apartments to maximize light and views. As the height increases, the character of the living space also changes. In the lower floors, there is a strong connection to the street and its daily activity. In the higher floors, a greater distance, calm, and views of the wider city gradually emerge.

This is also reflected in the composition of the apartments. The project offers units from 1+kk to 4+kk. Smaller apartments from approximately 40 m² are suitable for individuals or investment use. Apartments around 65 m² meet the needs of couples or a combination of living and working from home. Larger apartments with an area of around 100 m² are intended for family living. On the higher floors, there are apartments with terraces and maisonette units. The project also includes the option for client modifications of layouts, allowing residents to tailor the living space to their specific needs.

The standard meets current demands for urban living. It includes air conditioning, central heating, and preparation for outdoor shading. The building falls into energy class B. The project also offers available parking spaces directly in the building.

Prices for the apartments range approximately from 5.9 million crowns to 18.5 million crowns, depending on the size and location of the apartment. The completion of the project is planned for December 2026, with handover of the apartments to new owners at the beginning of 2027.
