Family house in Líšnice

The family house designed primarily for summer living with small children is located on a plot at the edge of the village of Líšnice – Prague West. The design is based on the effort to create a family home on a plot - a garden with mature greenery, ensuring that the house is as comfortable as possible for its users and reflects their good taste without excessive ostentation. The position of the house, its shape, and orientation fully comply with the shape of the plot with existing greenery and especially respect the mature walnut tree standing in the middle of the garden. The house itself, particularly the living terrace, takes advantage of it as a natural shading element. On the property, there is also a detached garage, parking space, and an inground pool. The house itself is single-story, non-basement in a T-shape. The entrance is intentionally led through the terrace to the center of the house. The layout prioritizes the possibility of connecting the interior of the living spaces with the covered terrace and then with the garden. The large living area with kitchen and dining room in the middle is the true center of "life" in the house, leading to the parents' bedroom with its own bathroom, and on the other side, a section with two rooms, a boiler room, a walk-in closet, and a shared bathroom. The entire structure of the house is constructed from the BS Klatovy system, with exterior walls made of lightweight insulating blocks, foundations made of concrete elements for lost formwork, and the ceiling (roof) made of beams and ceiling inserts. The facade consists of vertical cladding made of pressure-treated boards with varying widths, and the windows are wooden. The heating of the house is combined – a storage tank heated by solar collectors, and electricity is also used for heating domestic hot water; the collectors also heat the pool in the summer.
