Olympus Service Center

The building is situated in the industrial zone of the city of Přerov. Conceptually, it is designed as a basic cubic mass with a rectangular floor plan. The architectural form of the object consists of two contrasting parts: the operational building and the attached administrative mass. Ultimately, both masses are connected by a modular structural grid of the roof that defines the rectangular floor plan. The protruding part of the administrative block in front of the service block creates the entrance foyer of the object. The composition of the building is determined by the basic modular framework of the structural system. Functionally and spatially, the object is divided into two floors, which are interconnected according to functional sections. The main determining element of the building's design was the technological operation of the service center. The building serves as a repair shop for digital photographic devices.
