Arnold's villa is one of the most significant examples of historical villa architecture in Brno. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the iconic Tugendhat villa and, together with the Löw-Beer villa, forms a unique cultural complex. Built in 1862 by the prominent builder Josef Arnold, it underwent a fundamental reconstruction in the spirit of late Art Nouveau and Art Deco under the direction of Cäcilie Hožeová in the early 20th century.

World War II and post-war events significantly affected its fate. After 1945, it served as a kindergarten and fell into disrepair starting in 2012. Thanks to extensive reconstruction led by the city of Brno and supported by Norwegian funds, this cultural monument was saved and transformed into a space for gathering, education, and cultural activities.

The architectural concept of the reconstruction was based on the principle of maximizing the preservation of the original expression of the building. The façade was restored in its original colors, combining an ochre tone with a subtle green hint. The windows were refurbished and fitted with insulating double glazing, while the original wooden shutters, awnings, and glazed annexes, including the winter garden and veranda, were preserved. The interiors were sensitively restored, managing to retain the original wooden paneling, grained surfaces, and the main staircase. The structural stabilization of the building included a pile wall and reinforced concrete crowns, ensuring the long-term stability of the structure.

The reconstruction also included the revitalization of the garden according to plans from 1909, which respected the historical development of the site. The original park layout was restored, complemented by new trees, grassy areas, and resting spots, thereby returning the garden to its original character.

Today, the villa serves as a cultural and community center with exhibition spaces, an artistic café, and a study center for the Tugendhat villa. The project also included the revitalization of the garden according to historical plans from 1909, which has become part of the tour circuit known as the Triple Villas (Arnold's villa, Löw-Beer villa, Tugendhat villa).
