The career of architect Lumír Lýsek (*1934) is connected with Bratislava, but he was drawn to Olomouc by two design tasks, where he settled permanently in retirement with his wife, architect Soňa Kvasničková. The exhibition will present his lifelong work as well as both unrealized projects for the Olomouc Freedom Square. The first from 1966 addressed the Jednota building, while the second, which the architect is again intensively focusing on, concerns the gap "Gemo" a bit further down. Nearly sixty years, which frame both Olomouc stops, have been filled with active design, organizational, and educational activities. We will introduce you to its results in the Molitor Library.

The exhibition is open during guided tours or by arrangement at +420 605 280 225. Admission is voluntary. The event is held with grant support from the Czech Architecture Foundation and with financial support from the Statutory City of Olomouc.
