Co je architektura? / Filip Turek přednáší na FSv

The theme of the lecture focuses on the incorporation of individual automotive development directions with various architectural directions, and compares the different stages of the 20th century from the beginning of motorization. It also addresses the development of automotive design, its technical possibilities, and its comparison with the position of architecture during the given period. Significant milestones, notable personalities, their motivations, inspirations, and the creative possibilities of fundamental architects and automotive designers will be of interest to us, where they seemingly intersect the most and vice versa. Along the timeline, we will explore the beginnings of aerodynamic body shapes from the creation of the Tatra T77, from initial ideas and practical necessity through pure functionality of the body, to modern automotive concepts from the most famous design studios. The entire theme will be guided by Filip Turek, an automotive racer, car collector, founder and president of the Jaguar Club of the Czech Republic. THE LECTURE IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
