The civic association Za krásnou Olomouc invites you on Sunday, August 24, 2014, for a trip to Šternberk (with a picnic by the gazebo) accompanied by architects Pavel Martinka, Ondřej Spusta (Masparti), and historian Filip Hradil.
We will get to Šternberk:
either by train – departure from the main station in Olomouc at 13:47, arrival in Šternberk at 14:07
or by bike on the new bike path – meeting in front of the pub U Travise in Hejčín at 13:00
We will meet at Horní náměstí in Šternberk at 14:30, and we will visit, for example, the Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary (including its truss) and the former Augustinian monastery. We will conclude the trip with a tour of the exceptional, albeit lesser-known, and unfortunately, for a longer time now, deteriorating gazebo in Tyršovy sady, near which we will have a picnic.
Return connection to Olomouc: departure from the train station at 18:06, arrival at 18:25.
