The winner of this year's edition of the Diploma Thesis Showcase is for the first time in the history of the event a graduate of the Technical University of Liberec Veronika Bartošová with the design "The Roosevelt Island Universal Art Center" under the supervision of Professor Suchomel. For the seventh time, the Czech Chamber of Architects announced the Diploma Thesis Showcase for graduates of architectural schools and faculties with which it has a continuous collaboration. This year, the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague was also included among these schools. The aim of the annually announced Showcase is to compare the quality of education at these schools, with the Czech Chamber of Architects striving to raise the standards of architectural education. The primary criterion for evaluating submitted works is their architectural quality. The jury evaluates the works regardless of the type of their assignment.
