Revitalization and completion of the area of the City Indoor Swimming Pool and Summer Swimming Pools in Žilina

From the competitors, a proposal for a new solution for the sports and recreational area of the City's indoor swimming pool with the completion of new facilities according to the locality program is expected. In the defined area, on a plot with an area of approximately 2.25 ha, it is necessary to address a new concept for the organization of the City Indoor Swimming Pool and the outdoor swimming pools.

The competition is in two rounds:
- 1st round: urban planning solution for the entire area – mass solution of the existing building, scope of demolition works, possible extension, and spatial-operational solution
- 2nd round: selected teams will elaborate the proposal from the 1st round in more detail, focusing on the extension of the training pool, wellness, sauna, and summer entrance.
