Kapoor's sculpture in New York

In front of the Rockefeller Center on Fifth Avenue in New York, a giant sculpture by Anish Kapoor will stand from September 19 to October 27, 2006. This Indian-born artist has designed a 23-ton, convex mirror with a diameter of 35 feet.
In 2002, Kapoor's giant installation Marsyas (designed in collaboration with C. Balmond) was hosted in the turbine hall of London's New Tate. Two years later, he unveiled the 110-ton sculpture Sky Mirror in Chicago's Millennium Park. Currently, his projects with Future Systems are creating a stir.
