In Abu Dhabi, a complex has opened that houses a mosque, a church, and a synagogue side by side

Abu Dhabi – In the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Abu Dhabi, religious ceremonies of Muslims, Christians, and Jews take place just a few dozen meters apart. Within an area called the Abrahamic Family House, there stands a mosque, a church, and a synagogue, which is also the first synagogue in the UAE. All three buildings are architecturally interesting and guided tours are offered for tourists, reported The National News.
In the area named after Abraham (in Arabic Ibráhím), to which Christians, Jews, and Muslims all claim allegiance, there is also the so-called Welcome Centre, where interfaith meetings or seminars are to be held.

The construction of the Abrahamic Family House began in 2019 and it was opened this February, with tours for tourists starting in March.

The place of the three religions was inspired by the Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together, also known as the Abu Dhabi Declaration, which was signed in the capital of the UAE in February 2019 by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Cairo's Al-Azhar Mosque, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, who is regarded by a large portion of Muslims as the leader of Sunni Islam.

The mosque, church, and synagogue were built according to a design created by Ghanaian-British architect David Adjaye. From the outside, they are similar; all are white cubes surrounded by colonnades, though each building has a slightly different style.
