Karlovy Vary - Karlovy Vary have announced a tender for an investor who will reconstruct and also operate the Elizabeth Spa. According to the city's vision, the last municipal spa in the city should continue to provide spa services, but it could also offer accommodation, informed the Prague News Agency by the spokesperson of the city hall, Helena Kyselá. By expanding services, the Elizabeth Spa could partially compete with commercial spa facilities in the city. "The goal of the tender is to conclude a contract with a supplier whose offer will be the most economically advantageous according to the selected evaluation criteria. The anticipated contractual relationship will be a combination of a construction contract and a service contract," said Kyselá. The city is willing to co-finance the repairs, but up to a maximum of 300 million crowns. The estimated costs for the revitalization of the monument-protected complex in the city center are between 600 and 750 million. The selected concessionaire will financially participate in the revitalization of the Elizabeth Spa complex, in a ratio that will be specified during the tender process.
