The christening of the Yearbook of Czech Architecture 2004-05 took place this year on April 20, 2006, at Traube Villa, a remarkable building designed by the German architect Bruno Paul from 1928-29, which houses the Hungarian Embassy. The villa is a monument of modern architecture and has been reconstructed, including the garden. The author of the garden reconstruction is architect Jáno Štempel, a former member of ADNS, who selected buildings for the yearbook. The book contains 32 buildings, an interview with Ján Štempel, texts by Henrieta Moravčíková, Antal Puhl, and interviews with Eva Jiřičná and Jan Kaplický, along with other sections about architectural events, exhibitions, awards, competitions, products, and books. The book was christened by the Hungarian ambassador in Prague, István Szabó, and spicy delicacies from Hungarian cuisine were served, along with, among other things, the excellent 1999 Égri Bikavér. Unfortunately, not many of the architects published in the book attended, but the event can still be rated A 100.
