We cordially invite you to the online conference Material and Materiality in Architecture (within the framework of the Brno School of Art History) organized by the Seminar of Art History at Masaryk University, which will take place on June 3, 2021. The conference will feature contributions focused on contemporary approaches to the topic of material and materiality in architecture, emphasizing the reference of the “Brno School of Art History” to this issue. The online conference aimed at the public will present expert contributions on the topic. The conference will feature: Prof. PhDr. Jiří Kroupa, CSc., Prof. PhDr. Rostislav Švácha, CSc., Mgr. Filip Šenk, Ph.D., Mgr. Jan Galeta, Ph.D., Mgr. Lenka Vrlíková, and Mgr. Jana Gazdagová. The conference will conclude with a special lecture by Prof. Ákos Moravánszký (ETH Zurich), a leading foreign expert, who will speak on the topic Material Change in Architecture.
