Most – Most has succeeded with its application for a grant for the reconstruction of the cultural house Repre. The investment in its repair is the largest in the modern history of the city. Its implementation will be decided by the municipal council that will emerge from the upcoming local elections. Most has been promised a grant of 360 million crowns for the reconstruction, the city hall informed on its website.

The total costs for the repairs are around one billion crowns. The city hall canceled the previous public procurement. The building is currently in a preserved state. The last city ball was held there in 2019. The cultural house Repre is located in the center of Most next to the main street Budovatelů, right next to the city hall. In 2010, the city sold the building for 28 million crowns. In 2015, the arbitration court declared the purchase contract invalid and designated Most as the owner. A demolition order had previously been issued for the building.

In the funding calls of the Integrated Strategy of the Ústí-Chomutov Agglomeration (ITI), Most has succeeded with a total of eight projects with a promised overall support of 929 million crowns. Among the projects are the expansion of the transfer terminal near the train station, a system of traffic light-controlled intersections with dynamic control, increasing the capacity of kindergartens, and the construction of specialized classrooms in five primary schools.
