Together with the world’s top thought leaders such as James Corner (James Corner Field Operations, designer of High Line Park), Jón Gnarr (former mayor of Reykjavik), Gabu Heindl (leading Austrian architect focusing on projects against discrimination in public spaces), Sonja Hekkila (senior advisor at Tekes, the Finnish funding agency for the Innova project), and Greg Clark (global urban advisor), we discussed how design, politics, and civic activism can be used to create shared values and improve the quality of life in our cities. The entire event had a strong impact on us. We especially want to thank our speakers and participants who made reSITE an extraordinary experience for all of us. We hope to meet again next year on June 16-17, 2016 in Prague. The theme of the shared city does not disappear with the end of this year’s conference. Throughout the year, we plan several events that will explore how the sharing economy, architecture, and urban design can contribute to making the city a pleasant place to live. We will soon publish a book on this topic. You can follow all current information on our website.
