The construction of one of the tallest buildings in Brno will be delayed by several months

Brno - The high-rise building in the Spielberk Office Center complex, one of the tallest buildings in Brno, will be completed next spring. The development company CTP Invest had originally announced a completion date for this year, several months earlier. The new date for the completion of the 80-meter tall twenty-story building with a hotel was mentioned in the company’s newsletter.
    Several high-rise buildings are currently under construction or at least being prepared for construction in Brno. To date, the tallest building is the 74-meter high Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Brno University of Technology. The AZ Tower, which is about ten meters higher, aims to take the lead. It is in the same part of the city as the Spielberk Office Center.
    Several other towers are expected to rise around this administrative complex. Some of them are being discussed in connection with the new train station, and other high-rise buildings will be near the nearby Vaňkovka. The dominant feature of the area remains the sixty-meter M Palace.
    CTP plans to provide approximately 15,000 square meters of office space in the twenty-story building, while the neighboring fourteen-story building will house a hotel with two hundred rooms. The company had originally indicated a completion date for this year. It now claims that the completion next year is on schedule. The entire Spielberk Office Center complex is expected to cost about 4.2 billion crowns. Currently, it has over 55,000 square meters of office space, with 69 percent occupied, said the company’s media representative Jiří Hořčica.
    CTP Invest is one of the largest landowners in Brno and the surrounding area. It owns dozens of hectares and is interested in acquiring more land. The company has already invested over ten billion crowns in the metropolis and plans to invest additional billions in the coming years.
