The tallest building in Brno, Spielberk Tower B, has been completed

Brno - The new tallest building in Brno, Spielberk Tower B, has been approved. In April, new tenants will move in, the first of which will be employees of Honeywell. The Spielberk Tower is 85 meters tall and has 20 floors, as announced by the investor CTP in a press release today.
Honeywell has leased two floors in Spielberk Tower B, where approximately one hundred employees will work. "We believe that we will soon finalize additional rental agreements with potential clients we are negotiating with. The modern and attractive spaces are suitable for both large companies and smaller firms looking for representative areas," said CTP's director Remon Vos.
     The high-rise building, located near the city center, has 499 parking spaces and technical or storage facilities on 3 underground levels.
The new city landmark is currently the fifth tallest building in the entire Czech Republic. It is part of the Spielberk Office Centre administrative complex, which still needs to complete the building Spielberk Tower B, which will serve as a hotel.
     The building will likely lose its status as the Brno landmark sometime this year. A few dozen meters away, in the same area, the AZ Tower skyscraper is rising. It is expected to measure 111 meters and thus become the largest building in the Czech Republic. The AZ Tower is already halfway leased. The construction is expected to be completed by mid-2013.
