<p>Press conference on the current development of high-rise building issues in Olomouc</p>

Dear ladies and gentlemen,
the civic association For a Beautiful Olomouc would like to invite you to a press conference that will take place on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at 2 PM at Café 87 (Café of the Museum of Art Olomouc). The purpose of the meeting is the published visualization of the so-called Šantovka Tower by the Benoy studio, a controversial building to which our association, among others, takes a negative stance. On this occasion, we have requested statements from the responsible heritage conservation authorities, specifically:

• National Heritage Institute – Regional Professional Office in Olomouc
• Department of Heritage Conservation of the Building Department of the City Hall of SmOl,
• Department of Culture and Heritage Conservation of the Olomouc Region
• Heritage Department of the Olomouc Archdiocese

The press conference will also be attended by the prominent architectural historian Prof. Rostislav Švácha, in addition to members of the civic association For a Beautiful Olomouc.
