We would like to invite you to a lecture by Tomáš Valena on the topic Structuralism Reloaded, which will take place on June 22, 2012, at 6 p.m. at 4AM/Gallery of Architecture, Starobrněnská 18, 602 00 Brno. The lecture will be associated with the launch of the book related to the exhibition Compact City.

Prof. Dr. Ing.arch. Tomáš Valena teaches at the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Munich. He is the author of the book "City and Topography. The European City in Topographical Context." Last year he contributed to the publication "Structuralism Reloaded".

Compact City - This book is a compilation of texts related to the exhibition "Compact City" held from March 19 to April 24, 2011, at 4AM/Gallery of Architecture in Brno. In addition to contributions from participating exhibitors and speakers, it also presents an unpublished text by Tomáš Valena and commentary from the curators.
