The city of Uherské Hradiště, represented by the secretary of the City Office in Uherské Hradiště, announces a selection process for the position of
Referent/ka ARCHITECT/ARCHITECT Department of the City Architect of the City Office Uherské Hradiště
Details and conditions for inclusion in the selection process, which must be adhered to in accordance with Act No. 312/2002 Coll., on the officials of territorial self-governing units, can be obtained on the website of the city of Uherské Hradiště www.mesto-uh.cz, on the notice board of the city of Uherské Hradiště, Masarykovo nám. 19, and by phone at 572 525 301.
Basic requirements: - Czech citizenship; for foreign nationals, a permanent residence in the Czech Republic, - at least 18 years of age, - legal capacity, - impeccable character, - knowledge of the negotiating language (Czech or Slovak).
Additional requirements: - university degree in architecture with the title Ing. arch., - very good knowledge in the field of architecture, urbanism, spatial planning, and city development, - presentation and stylistic skills, communication and organizational abilities, and teamwork, - active approach to solving assigned tasks, responsibility, independence, - knowledge of PC software (Word, Excel, ArchiCad, PowerPoint, etc.), - time flexibility, resilience to stress, loyalty, discretion, - driver's license group "B", - familiarity with construction legislation (building law and heritage law), - experience with community planning and grant management is an advantage, - knowledge of English is an advantage.
Type of work: - preparation of documents for the municipality's positions – as a participant in proceedings under the building law, - participates in the preparation of investment proposals or studies for new city initiatives primarily related to spatial development, - develops small conceptual architectural and urban studies for the needs of the city, - prepares documents and consults on architectural and urban topics within the municipality, - conducts architectural supervision, related surveys and investigations, - participates in organizing architectural and urban competitions, - provides documentation for the city's spatial plan and regulatory plans, - ensures the preparation and consultation of spatial studies, - assists in coordinating renovations and the development of technical infrastructure systems, - prepares documents for the agenda of planning contracts for public technical and transport infrastructure, - and other activities in the field of self-governance in the areas of architecture, urbanism, and city development.
The applicant's submission must include, according to § 7 (4) of Act No. 312/2002 Coll., as amended, the following particulars: - name, surname, and title of the applicant, - date and place of birth of the applicant, - nationality of the applicant, - permanent residence of the applicant, - identity card number or residence permit number, in the case of a foreign national, - date and signature of the applicant.
The following documents must be attached to the application: - a CV stating previous employment and professional knowledge and skills, - a list (portfolio) of significant works in the field of architecture and urbanism covering 2 pages, - a criminal record extract not older than 3 months; for foreign nationals, a similar document proving impeccable character issued by their home country, if such a document is not issued, character can be proven by an affidavit, - a verified copy of the highest education diploma, - consent to the processing of personal data provided in accordance with Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the protection of personal data, as amended; a sample of consent is available for download on the city's website in the "Selection Procedures" → Job Vacancies section.
Additional provisions: - The employment relationship will be established for an indefinite period. - The start of employment is possible from February 1, 2017, or by agreement. - Salary grade: 10 - Workplace: City Office Uherské Hradiště
