On Thursday, December 17, 2015, a lecture evening will take place at the AVU Gallery (U Akademie 4, Prague) starting at 7:00 PM, complementing the exhibition “7“ documenting the past decade of seven graduates of the School of Architecture of Professor Emil Přikryl. One common table winding through the gallery presents a diverse selection of works. David Kubík brought steel joints from the construction of experimental towers, but also a 3D printed model of the Doubravka lookout tower, the realization of which is still being prepared. Jan Horký and Pavel Nasadil revealed the story of the construction of a cabin in Dosky, for which they received the National Award for Architecture this year. For the first time, early versions of this famous project are publicly presented. Bronislav Stratil exhibits a wooden model of the extension of the Puppet Theatre in Ostrava and a printed portfolio of works from the past ten years. Most people associate Petra Šmídka with the virtual environment of websites. However, the exhibition presents diaries from lectures and trips for architecture. The handwriting of Viktor Vlach is an integral part of the graphic expression of the studio u-c. A sketchbook with humorous comic stories was created for the exhibition. Under plexiglass showcases, hundreds of miniature paper models crowd together, confirming Vlach's skill. Jan Žalský, in collaboration with photographer Lukáš Prokůpek, exhibits eight videos capturing nighttime moments in Žalský's buildings. At the lecture evening, the catalog “7“ will be available for purchase at a discounted price of 250,-
