The author lecture by Kamil Mrva will present this prominent figure of the young generation of Czech architects. After studying at the Brno Faculty of Architecture, he gained experience under the guidance of Karel Prager and subsequently in North America, where he focused mainly on the works of Frank Lloyd Wright. His first realized project, which clearly bears the architect's signature, is his own family house with a studio in Kopřivnice. This was followed by other realizations of family houses that connect modern functional architecture with traditional materials and the landscape of the Beskydy region. Kamil Mrva Architects consists of a small team that has already received several awards for their work.
