Angela Deuber belongs to the younger generation of Swiss architects and her work has already received international recognition. Her cautious, visionary approach to the task produces significant and independent results with a strong expression. In her lecture, she discusses her personal understanding of architecture and explains it using selected examples.
Angela Deuber is from Switzerland, having studied at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (2002), where she practiced in Chur in the canton of Graubünden. Between 2007 and 2010, she taught at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, and since 2012, she has been lecturing at the University of Lucerne. Her studio has created numerous distinctive buildings and projects, including: House on the Hebrides, Scotland (2014), School building in Thal, canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland (2012), and the reconstruction of a late medieval house in Stuls in Graubünden, Switzerland (2012).
