The exhibition OBJECTIVELY at the Emil Fill Gallery in Ústí has a grand finale in store. On the eve of its last day, its golden doors will open for another edition of PechaKucha Night Ústí nad Labem. The four exhibiting men – Robert Vlasák, Jan Krtička, Jan Prošek, and Libor Novotný – will be joined by 10 speakers presenting their contributions on the theme ‘MEN-OBJECTS’. What could be the relationship between men and objects, or men as objects, will be illustrated by, among others, tram designer and erotic gadget creator Anna Marešová, architects Martin Rajniš and Martin Kloda, Ústí brewer Martina Valterová, and exhibiting artist Jan Prošek, all within 6 minutes and 40 seconds. We start on Tuesday, 9.10.2012 at 20:20h.
The evening will feature: Pavel Barták, Anna Marešová, Pavla Jenková, the group Posedlí, Martin Rajniš, Martin Kloda, Jan Prošek, Jozef Mrva, Lukáš Malák, and Rudolf Matějček, Martina Valterová.
The traditional beer break will be provided by the bar Mumie, and the musical performance will be handled by Ticho De Beige. The graphic design for this evening is by Lucie Muchovičová.
The event is held in cooperation with ‘TOP week of graphic design in Ústí nad Labem’, organized by the Incubator Předlice. PechaKucha Night is a global phenomenon of presentations by artists, architects, designers, and creative people in general. It originated in Tokyo, where the first such evening took place in 2003. Since then, this format has spread to more than 560 cities worldwide, and we have been organizing it in Ústí nad Labem since 12.4.2012, each time thematically focused according to the ongoing exhibition. Each speaker has 20 images at their disposal and may comment for 20 seconds each, allowing a total of 6 minutes and 40 seconds before the arrival of their successor.
