Vizkon EDU is, following the example of the parent conference Vizkon, an event focused on the topic of visualizations. Its aim is to highlight the fact that what an architect, builder, or generally a designer proposes is not readable to the lay public in any other way than through visualization. Therefore, it is necessary to deal with them in more detail.
How to work with the creation of visualizations and their content is a question that is addressed significantly less in schools than it should be, despite the fact that it is often a crucial element of students' future professional lives. We want to partially remedy this and therefore invite representatives from various schools and universities, as well as professionals in visualizations who make a living from them and create them successfully every day. It is also about showing the practical side of visualizations and their use in various situations, not just during negotiations with clients.

The conference will be a one-day event, taking place on April 4, 2018, at FAST VUT, from 9.00 to 18.00 in the local Aula. The conference will be moderated in the form of panels, always with enough time for questions and interaction between the audience and the speakers. During the conference, the Myia communication platform will also run, which participants of the November VIZKON 2017 already know; it allows communication beyond the framework of classic questions and discussions in the space of your mobile or PC.
From the education sector, you can look forward to representatives from VUT in Brno, ČVUT in Prague, representatives from secondary schools, and the following experts, among whom we can now preliminarily confirm professionals from the Visuin Institute, Flying Architecture, and the Archaeological Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. We will gradually add more participants along with further details.
The conference will also feature a support corner that will allow participants to address their technical problems with various software and hardware. Everyone has some software and hardware challenges; providing people with space for support for different software and hardware solutions is a logical addition to the conference. You will be able to try the most powerful PC setups, experience professional virtual reality, and ask experts about CAD, CAM, and visualization software for both CPU and GPU types. Following the conference, there will also be a friendly evening program with wine tasting, live music, and virtual reality walks.
