We spend up to 90% of our time in buildings, yet staying indoors can also have a negative impact on our health. And even outside, we are mostly in a man-made environment: on streets, in squares, in parks, and on playgrounds. The fifth lecture on sustainable architecture will this time focus on the relationship between people, buildings, and their surroundings. How to design buildings and public spaces where residents feel good? What does "healthy building" mean? How to involve everyone from the public to municipal representatives in project planning? How can buildings support social sustainability? Experts who design architecture for people will present these topics. The event is held in cooperation with the Czech Council for Sustainable Buildings.
