7:00 PM What gives architectural projects meaning? Is it their ability to survive their realization and bring a new dimension or even life to the designated location? The discussion evening on selected projects from the [anastomosis] exhibition with students/authors and representatives of public administration and the private sector will attempt to reveal whether and how they could be realized and whether they would stand the test of financing their operation. In the Czech Republic, an unpleasant bureaucratic term sustainability has been introduced into investment plans from EU legislation for considerations of longevity and life of projects after realization. The debate should clarify what problems students faced in assessing the realism of the projects and how various more or less informed outside individuals perceive the whole matter. The discussion evening is organized in cooperation with the civic association Strategia.
