Design doors with aluminum construction

The new generation of doors is characterized by strength and stiffness thanks to the internal aluminum construction, which allows for atypical dimensions, various types of cladding or filling, but also high design purity, especially in a cohesive door system with hidden frames.

MASTER Doors

The first representative of this type of design door is the MASTER door leaf, which features an internal perimeter frame made of anodized aluminum. The precision of the corner connection of the aluminum profiles into a rectified angle, ensured by ITEM connectors, is structurally important. The aluminum frame is in a basic silver anodized finish, but it can also be colored according to the RAL color chart. The structure of the door leaf is reinforced with internal aluminum ribs, which enable atypical dimensions. "The doors can reach a maximum height of 370 cm and a width of 125 cm, and this is due to the fact that doors can be embedded in the frame without a transom, allowing them to occupy the entire space from floor to ceiling," describes Mr. Petr Paksi, the executive director of the Czech company J.A.P., from whose development workshop these aluminum door systems originate. The surface of the doors can be made of glass in various finishes, including decorated Grafosklo, penetrated MDF board prepared for wallpaper or plaster application, or veneer. The internal structure also allows for any combination of these materials, both vertically and horizontally.

Design doors MASTER can be in swing or sliding versions, along the wall or into a building pocket. The door leaf with a width of 40 mm is available in both a non-rebate and rebate version (25/15), while a width of 62 mm is available only in a rebate version (47/15). A reverse opening form is also available.

From the perspective of utility properties, the MASTER doors are completely resistant to significant temperature changes and withstand water without any problems. Within the door system with a hidden frame, the Aktive, the MASTER doors have an independent certification for sound insulation properties up to a sound reduction of 34 dB. "The model equipped with a bottom mechanical threshold falls into the category of sound-insulating doors," adds Petr Paksi from J.A.P.

STRONG Doors

The second representative of doors with an aluminum construction is the fully glazed variant - STRONG doors in a non-rebate version. Unlike the MASTER doors, this time the center of the aluminum profile serves as the bearing part, into which a single-layer glass filling of 4 mm thickness is inserted, including the required finish. There are various types of glass to choose from - clear, frosted, colored toned planibel or sandblasted. The aluminum frame can be surface-treated with structural PUR paint according to the RAL color chart.
"Here, too, the stiffness of the aluminum profiles used plays a significant role, as the maximum width of the STRONG doors without needing to reinforce them with ribs is 100 cm and the height is 280 cm," states Petr Paksi

Design doors STRONG can again be in swing or sliding versions, along the wall or into a building pocket. It is always a non-rebate version, with swing doors featuring pin hinges and a magnetic lock with a concealed bolt.
