Rigips Company is purposefully expanding and innovating its product portfolio in the area of dry construction systems and now supplies a comprehensive system of building elements for prefabricated wooden constructions. A new addition to the offer is the Rigidur load-bearing wall panel, which is used for constructing internal partitions as well as for the external perimeter walls of the building. The Rigidur panel is a board element composed of a wooden frame, with a filling made of mineral insulation and sheathing of gypsum fiber boards.
The panel serves a wide range of functions from transferring vertical and horizontal loads, to sound insulation, and even fire resistance.
The introduction of the new construction system to the market was preceded by demanding tests. Several construction assemblies were tested for sound and thermal insulation with very good results. Tests also demonstrated the high effectiveness of Rigidur gypsum fiber boards in addressing fire resistance requirements, achieving ratings of up to REI 60.
Part of the preparations for the new building solution included a certification system for products with complete documentation, materials, and support for manufacturers of wooden constructions. Among the services provided by Rigips are technical consulting, collaboration in creating materials, and commercial support for manufacturers and assembly companies. As part of the multinational corporation Saint-Gobain, Rigips leverages years of knowledge and experience in the area of prefabricated wooden constructions from around the world, especially from the USA and Canada.
Rigips now offers a comprehensive building system for contractors in the area of prefabricated wooden constructions:

A collective of authors composed of leading experts has worked intensively for nearly a year on preparing a unique publication that has no counterpart in the Czech market. The publication contains comprehensive data and information about systems for dry internal construction.
The publication is titled Installation Manual for Gypsum Board Installers and – as the name suggests – contains installation instructions for all systems of dry internal construction.
