The RigiStabil structural board allows for new constructions not only in timber buildings

Rigips has long been offering a comprehensive system of building elements for prefabricated wooden constructions, ranging from load-bearing exterior and internal load-bearing and non-load-bearing wall structures, floor constructions Rigidur, through drywall systems to plaster coatings and fillers for demanding applications.
The dry construction systems are now expanded to include the structural drywall board RigiStabil not only for wooden structures. This unique building material can be used in various ways in interior constructions. Under certain conditions, the board can also be used in external environments in protected exposure (overhangs, passages, etc.).

Board with cantilever loading of up to 80 kg
With the RigiStabil board, it is possible to construct systems with increased requirements for mechanical and fire resistance even in environments with increased humidity. When it comes to hanging heavier objects, RigiStabil performs equally well as fiber cement boards, as it reliably supports cantilever loads of up to 80 kg with suitable anchoring devices for hollow constructions. The hardness of the surface of the board makes it suitable for use in areas with an increased risk of impact. Contractors and investors will appreciate the lower weight of the board as well as its economic advantages.

High mechanical and fire resistance
The high flexural strength of RigiStabil boards makes them suitable for use in conditions where they may be subjected to demanding mechanical stresses. Tests have demonstrated their applicability in statically loaded load-bearing frame structures.
The RigiStabil structural boards are non-combustible, classified in the fire reaction category A2–s1, d0. The RigiStabil constructions are classified according to the European standard ČSN EN 13501-2.

New assembly options of constructions
New options for assembly of partitions, false walls, ceilings, and attics on wooden battens and metal profiles have now been added to constructions made of fiber cement boards Rigidur and drywall boards.
Among the constructions, new systems for wooden constructions can be found:
- load-bearing wall panels for exterior walls with combined cladding of fiber cement boards Rigidur and structural boards RigiStabil
- internal load-bearing walls with double-sided cladding of RigiStabil boards,
- non-load-bearing partitions with RigiStabil boards on wooden battens and metal profiles.

The load-bearing panel with RigiStabil boards can be used for internal load-bearing walls.
The basic modular element consists of an outer frame with one central column. The maximum width of the basic module is 1,250 mm.
Individual modules can be assembled into walls of any length according to the needs of the construction. The wall panel can be loaded with horizontal loads acting in the plane of the wall. The height of the wall must always be determined based on static assessment. A load-bearing wall on wooden columns of 60 x 100 mm with one layer of RigiStabil boards meets the static vertical load of 50 kN/m and is classified for fire resistance REI 30 DP3 and REI 15 DP2. Test results confirm the good properties of RigiStabil wall systems in terms of airborne sound insulation. The processing and assembly of RigiStabil boards are easy and follow the rules for installing fiber cement and drywall boards.

Cladding of the internal partition with RigiStabil structural board. The surface hardness of the board, high flexural strength, health safety, moisture resistance, and very small dimensional and volume changes make the board suitable for use in wooden constructions and not just there.
