Delta Light Czech s. r. o.

Every two years, The Lighting Bible is released, a catalog presenting a collection of architectural lighting that includes a variety of luminaire designs developed, tested, and manufactured in cooperation with designers at Delta Light's headquarters in Belgium. This year's The Lighting Bible 14 features a range of ambitious lighting system solutions that explore the possible boundaries of design, performance, architecture, and technology. Cutting-edge optics, impressive design, maximum flexibility, and new materials are at the core of Delta Light's new collection for 2021.

CEO Jan Ameloot explains: "With Lighting Bible 14 and the new collection, we continue to explore the boundaries of technical and architectural lighting that we develop together with our in-house teams of research, development, and design, which is truly a very exciting collaboration. The purity of design and sophistication of technology blend in the new collections of The Lighting Bible 14 more than ever and represent our ethos of pure delight in lighting."

The Lighting Bible, first published in 1997, is an icon in the international world of luminaires, architecture, interiors, and design. The Lighting Bible always takes you on a global journey of inspiration that you can find in various interiors around the world.

Lighting Bible 14 comes this year for the first time as a duo: The Lighting Bible Imagine and The Lighting Bible Create. Imagine focuses on inspiration, architectural projects, and implementations with Delta Light luminaires. Create specializes in the Delta Light product range, complemented by technical information about the collections and product photography.

The story of The Lighting Bible 14 continues online at deltalight.com, where you can find more information about the new Delta Light collection.

Here are the highlights of the entire collection:

Haloscan – design follows optics

Haloscan is the embodiment of innovative spirit in The Lighting Bible 14. The luminaire is adapted to flat optics, combining an ultra-minimalist appearance with a pleasant light effect. Light spreads gently using a flat sophisticated lens that creates up to four different beam angles, from spot to flood, and even linear light. The patented Ex-Centric Rotation System is used for smooth rotation and tilting. Its asymmetrical suspension combines the capabilities of rotating and tilting in one swift motion. Haloscan is a collection of accent lights available as semi-recessed, surface-mounted, or as modules for magnetic profiles.

Zoover – delicate structure

The Zoover pendant luminaire will enhance the room with its texture, volume, and depth. It is designed as a shallow dome that conceals a circle of light, giving it a different appearance depending on the angle of view. When viewed from the side, the shade looks very neutral. When illuminated, the fixture captures attention with many intricate details and soft light, illuminating the inner surface. The thermally molded felt dome is a brilliant combination of form and function.

Artuur – design and versatility

Artuur draws attention with almost everything, whether it's the design or optics. The luminaire comes as a downlight with edges beveled towards the center, available in round or square designs. A clever design twist is revealed in its asymmetrical square version. Another interesting feature is the convex lens on top of the deeply recessed LED, which gives the light a sophisticated effect and appearance. This luminaire boasts exceptional light quality and a cleanly bounded light column. Even when turned off, it captivates with its remarkable aesthetics. Additionally, with the Artuur luminaire, you can combine general lighting with wall lighting, all in one fixture. When installed in the ceiling, Artuur adds depth to the room with its subtly protruding frame. The luminaire can also be mounted in a frameless version.

Multinova – Rotate me, I'm made for it

The luminaire, with two different diameters and a height of only 69 millimeters, can be used in many ways. Due to its small size, Multinova fits into any residential or public space. As a track system luminaire, it is also suitable for retail environments, with a prismatic diffuser to reduce glare, making it adaptable even in office settings. To ensure general lighting, Multinova can be placed on magnetic profiles.

The luminaire is available in classic black or white, or you can choose a warmer gold. In addition to the classic and prismatic diffuser, there is also a smoke diffuser that creates an interesting decorative element when the light is turned off. The ideal use for this versatile luminaire is when grouping two or three fixtures into a pendant composition, suitable for larger spaces such as lobbies, receptions, or open offices, where it combines beauty with functionality. In addition to recessed, surface-mounted, and track versions for track systems, there are two other hanging options: on cables or rods, where Multinova can be tilted up to 90 degrees.

Spy – rediscovered classic

Minimalism, functionality, and versatility are key concepts that describe the extensive Spy collection. Spy spotlights are designed to meet various requirements and provide the perfect solution in both residential and commercial spaces. The Spy range offers a versatile and comprehensive selection of recessed, surface-mounted, and track luminaires in endless combinations, shapes, and LED colors, as well as in various finishes and variations.

The renewed Spy spotlight collection has expanded with many technical enhancements: a wider palette of colors, improved light performance, new optics, the possibility of changing the light color with Tunable White, and Soft Dim dimming. The Spy 39 W for outdoor use is also a new addition.

Uho – compact size

At first glance, Uho looks like a simple luminaire. However, the essence lies in the details of its processing. The perfect ratio of the body and its diameter matches the proportions of the entire luminaire excellently. Uho is available as an accent light that can be added to small profiles Splitline 14 and Shiftline 19, as well as as a spot light in single or double versions, and in the surface-mounted version, also in a triple version.

Nime – invisible yet tangible

The Nime luminaire is the latest innovation resulting from the ongoing collaboration between lighting designer Dean Skira and Delta Light, and it is likely the smallest luminaire ever produced.

The perfect lighting of Nime is the result of a journey towards maximum minimalism, focusing more on light than on the luminaire itself. As a fully integrated architectural solution, the body of Nime is completely hidden in the ceiling, revealing nothing but a 10-millimeter diameter opening. The Nime system and its own optics allow for focusing the beam and adjusting its angle, rotation, and tilt. All this is achieved without compromising its defining minuscule size and with almost zero glare.

"Nime allows you to highlight objects on vertical and horizontal surfaces without a visibly placed luminaire. You can illuminate both small and large objects, even those not close to the source. You can direct the light where it is needed, even on sloped ceilings. Or you can create identical light circles from low and high ceilings. Absence is in its presence. Presence is in its absence," revealed lighting designer Dean Skira.
