The lightweight yet very sturdy aluminum holder for the PREFA snow guard is suitable not only for new buildings but can also be installed retrospectively on already laid roof coverings. The profiled rods made of colored, high-strength alloyed aluminum are then simply inserted into the holders and secured with a fixing slide. This eliminates the complicated threading of the rods. If necessary, individual rods (3 meters long) can be connected using connectors. The two-part holders are mounted on the roof surface through an internal thread and are sealed against atmospheric precipitation with a so-called O-ring. The snow guards are supplied as a complete set either in the color of natural aluminum or in all standard colors for PREFA small-format roofing systems. The total effective height of the snow guard is 205 mm.
