Economics, lifespan, comfort, and the absence of disruptive technological elements have placed large-area electric direct heating at the forefront for heating residential buildings.

A low-energy brick house with a total living area of 205.1 m2, located on the outskirts of Plzeň, was classified in category "B" during the processing of the Energy Performance Certificate (according to Decree 148/2007 Coll.), yet its construction parameters and energy values are already approaching category "A". This is also why electric heating was chosen as the main heating system.
