Roof balcony VELUX Cabrio®: In constant contact with the surrounding world

The balcony windows are equipped with integrated ventilation, allowing fresh air to flow into the room without having the window open. The ventilation system also includes a built-in and easy-to-clean filter against dust and insects. Energy efficiency is ensured by the unique VELUX ThermoTechnology™ insulation system, which effectively improves the parameters of the window frame and consequently the entire window, keeping the warmth inside your home. Although you might not be able to enjoy long views from the balcony in winter, you will at least appreciate the view through the large roof window.

The glass of the roof balcony is safe and laminated – if, by chance, the glass were to break under impact, it would not fall out of the window, ensuring safety, especially if there are children running around in the apartment. Like every VELUX product, the balcony can also be enhanced with indoor and outdoor shading accessories.

As for window care, we have made sure that maintenance is easy. Regular upkeep is therefore simple. The balcony glass has a self-cleaning coating, which means you won’t have to wash it as often. The self-cleaning effect is based on the easier breakdown of organic dirt and their quicker rinsing from the glass. When activated by light, the surface of the glass becomes highly hydrophilic – during rain, water spreads over the surface and forms a continuous film. For this reason, a special coating also protects the window from fogging. Thus, you only need to wipe the windows occasionally with a cloth or wash them with a window cleaning solution.
