Where do you most wish to work if you are a student of information technology or engineering? The correct answer is: at Google, the giant in the search engine field. This was the result of a survey that included 144,000 students from around the world.
Enjoy having fun at work. Be creative. Don't be mean. Google's recipe for corporate culture has also shown very decent success. The company is now at the absolute global peak in terms of market value and brand value. Other companies that are at the top along with it are three other giants from the IT industry – Apple, Microsoft, and IBM.
It was completely natural that the Dublin office should be designed to bring smiles to people's faces and ignite a creative atmosphere.
More than 1,800 freely hanging acoustic elements
The Dublin office is the headquarters of Google for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The office complex includes three buildings: One Grand Canal, Gasworks, and the fifteen-story Google Docks, also known here as the Montevetro building.
Inside the Montevetro building, excellent acoustics are provided by more than 1,800 freely hanging acoustic elements. There are 34 different special shapes of Ecophon Solo Freedom panels and 9 standard shapes of Ecophon Solo panels with various rounded and sharp angles. The panels have been produced in 7 different standard colors and additionally in 4 special color shades.

It seems like a long time has passed since a garage was sufficient for business, but it has only been eighteen years. Now, achieving a good feeling associated with modern demands for quality sound environments can only be done with specially designed acoustic ceiling systems.
Times change, and so do we. Poor room acoustics have never been in style.
A tough nut for suppliers
Henry J Lyons Architects in Dublin coordinated the design of Ecophon Solo panels according to the concept of the project architect and focused on creating creatively looking spaces in the building. Ecophon collaborated with construction consultant Gardiner & Theobald to ensure smooth integration of production and delivery schedules into the supply chain, just as Google delivers search results. The on-site installation was conducted by Platt and Reilly Drywall.
