The company PRESBETON comes this season with a very interesting novelty in the area of concrete pavements and urban furniture.

The design of the individual elements of the proposed furniture is inspired by bionic examples from the animal kingdom. Basalt columnar formations that crystallize into hexagonal shapes served as direct inspiration for the design of the pavement system.
The shape of the H-E-X system utilizes the main advantages of the material from which it is made - reinforced concrete. Thanks to the casting process into molds, reinforced concrete can be assigned noble shapes that would be difficult to produce from another material.

The main advantage of the pavement system is the gradual, unforced transition from paved areas to grassy green spaces.

Hexagonal paving together with the grassing elements and planters forms a coherent system, allowing for significant variability and composability. It is a modular system from which the customer can assemble green islands according to their own vision. This system is complemented by H-E-X and H-E-X DEFORM seating, whose platform is in the same format as the pavement, allowing for direct insertion into the assembled area. The vegetative and simultaneously solid paving with a thickness of 80 mm is designed for vehicle traffic up to 3.5 t.

This system also includes two types of benches, which harmonize perfectly with other elements, but can also be used independently if needed.

Barrier posts and trash bins are installed into a prefabricated reinforced concrete base. The attachment structure is covered with paving, so the joints are hidden. The posts are manufactured in two variants - with lighting (LED strips) and without lighting. The metal box of the trash bin is foldable and removable.

Bicycle rack consists of two reinforced concrete elements. Its capacity can be chosen according to the customer's wishes. The edge formwork is designed in the same style as the H-E-X 2 bench. The middle piece can be inserted multiple times to create an "endless rack".

Urban furniture H-E-X is intended for urban environments such as streets, pedestrian zones, or squares, but also for parks. The pavement with planters can be applied outside the city in residential areas of family houses or in village environments. The predominant material is smooth exposed concrete, which guarantees significant resistance to weather influences and vandalism. The slats of the benches are made of impregnated spruce wood in various surface treatment options. The metal connecting elements are galvanically zinc-coated.

All concrete elements of this system are frost-resistant. H-E-X paving is equipped with Protect System TOP impregnation and other elements with Protect System IN. More at www.presbeton.cz.
