New arrival from Cersaie for the first time in the Czech Republic

At the latest Cersaie fair, the Nomad and Origami tiles from the Italian brand Unica by Target were presented to the world. Perfecto design brings them exclusively to the Czech market. Both novelties have a lot to offer. Each one is something a little different.

The foundation is a solid base

The base of the tiles is a technically high-quality material called gres porcellanto. The surface is then hand-glazed with a glass paste and fired again to perfectly blend the base and the surface glaze.

Tiles like a Nomadic carpet

The collection aptly named Nomad arose from the idea of obtaining a floor with the texture of a carpet. The tile decor truly resembles the carpets of nomadic tribes. The texture is plastic and grainy, like that of a woven carpet that has softened and become cozier over time. The tiles are suitable for interiors, exteriors, pools, commercial spaces, and even walls. You can choose from ten vibrant and warm colors in two finishes (normal and honed), two rectified and modular formats (60x60 and 20x20), a mosaic decor (30x30), and listels (30x60) glued to a backing mesh. The decor consists of 9 patterns that are randomly mixed.

“Hand glazing allowed us to combine the durability of fired tiles with the delicate beauty of luxurious fabric. The result is Nomad - a silky carpet with a touch of the Orient
,” says designer Martina Šimková from the Perfecto design bathroom studio.

Exceptionally asymmetrical Origami

The Origami tiles do not hide their inspiration from the ancient Japanese art of paper folding. The collection is based on "Kami" paper, from which Japanese origami is made.
The surface is slightly, almost imperceptibly, relief compared to the base, creating an impression of movement. When placed together, the collection creates a seamless surface without optical interruption. The size of the tiles simply fades from perception.
The collection is available in black and white and two rectified modular formats (60x60 and 20x20). While the 60x60 format features two diverse asymmetrical patterns, the 20x20 format has as many as 9.

Origami finds application in various styles, from retro to modern and Scandinavian,” adds designer Jozef Počil.

Tiles with Japanese inspiration invite relaxation, even though the Japanese do not have it as a habit.

The tiles can also be combined across colors.
