At the age of 89, architect Ivar Otruba has died

On August 31, Professor Ing. Ivar Otruba, CSc., a personality of Czech landscape architecture, passed away at the age of 89, a person associated with free creativity and a moral appeal. A professor of landscape architecture, who referred to the cemetery as the garden of the last existence and spoke of the journey as the first architectural expression of humanity.
The final farewell will take place on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the ceremony hall of the Brno crematorium.
