At the AA School of Architecture in Prague, the director of the Architekturmuseum der TUM, Prof. Dr. Andres Lepik, will give a lecture. He has prepared a talk titled "Curating Architectural Exhibitions as a Critical Practice" for students and the general public. Architectural exhibitions present a specific challenge for the curatorial process: real buildings can only be mediated through media such as drawings, photographs, videos, or models. Nevertheless, an architecture exhibition in a gallery or museum can critically express architectural ideas. Professor Andres Lepik from the Technical University of Munich will discuss his personal experience in curating architectural exhibitions, gained through work at three institutions: Neue Nationalgalerie (Berlin), Museum of Modern Art (New York), and Architekturmuseum in Munich.
